No. The build fee is split 50/50: half at the start of the project, half on delivery. Monthly billing doesn't start until your extension is live and you've confirmed it works.
Your license is deactivated and the extension stops working. There are no cancellation fees and no long-term contracts. If you resubscribe later, the extension reactivates within 24 hours.
The monthly fee covers bug fixes, Chrome browser compatibility updates, and selector maintenance when the web apps your extension runs on change their layout. New features or significant scope changes are quoted as separate projects.
For websites: yes, you own the code, the domain, and all content. For Chrome extensions: you receive a license to use the extension. Axir retains ownership of the underlying code and reusable components, which is what allows us to maintain and update it efficiently.
Chrome extensions typically take 1–2 weeks from signed contract to delivery. Website builds take 1–3 weeks depending on content provided. Full package projects are typically completed in 3–5 weeks. Timeline starts once the build fee deposit is received.
